Today I’m going to be taking a look at Nendoroid #499!
Nendoroid Sakura Mikudayo!☆
| Originally created as an April Fools joke in 2013, the cherry blossomed themed version of Mikudayo, ‘Sakura Mikudayo’ is now actually being released! Her strangely thin twin-tails have been covered in cherry blossom patterns for a cuter look than ever before!Optional parts include three-color ‘hanami dango’ for enjoying the cherry blossoms, as well as Mikudayo’s favorite food – tuna sushi! The incredible detail of the sushi that shares a pink color with the cherry blossoms has Mikudayo most pleased! Be sure to add the late-blooming Sakura Mikudayo to your collection! |

GSC’s 2013 April Fools joke has become an actual product!!
Trust Dayo-san to be able to break through the lies of April Fools and come into the real world in an all new pink form!
Even from the back her presence is undeniable!! (°Д°；≡°Д°；)
That strangely bulky yet stable appearance… those flat twin-tails…!!
This is the unwavering Dayo-san we all love!!
This time around her arms also feature ball joints, allowing for even more wondrous poses! ☆
Her hair and outfit also feature beautiful cherry blossom prints! ε=(｡・д・｡)

The overall pink color scheme also adds a lovely gentle, Spring feeling to the design! It makes Dayo-san more ladylike and cuter than ever before!!
Her overall design might be rather similar to the previous Dayo-san, but…
Her optional parts are also all new!!
#1: Three-Color Dango (Large)
Dayo-san has a very big mouth, so large dango had to be included!
You’ll find that this dango is considerably larger than the dango that are included with Nendoroid Kashuu!
Look how cute and innocent she is running about with her dango!! ♡♥︎

#2: Sushi (Tuna)
Just look at that delicious shine!! (´□｀｡)
Each of the rice grains have been carefully sculpted, not to mention the perfectly cut tuna!! There is no way that Mikudayo could say no to this – it’s a perfect example of her favorite food!!
…Wha!!!
It looks like she is satisfied!! Yay!! (/ω＼)
By the way, there are absolutely no pegs or holes on the sushi! If you want her to hold it she has to balance it carefully on both arms… just like the REAL Mikudayo!!
Nope! Only one dango and one sushi included! Sorry Dayo-san!
The ball joints in the shoulders make posing so much easier, and the new optional parts allow you to enjoy the unique universe of Mikudayo!! ♡
The product is admittedly rather simple as far as Nendoroids go, but that also of course means that she is priced rather affordably! In fact, you can add this adorable thing character to your collection for just ¥2,963 (Before Tax)!
